Important Notice - Cancellation of MCC Race 1

Dear MCC Skippers,

Unfortunately we have no choice but to issue this notification, and cancel this Sunday's Race 1. (21st January).

Our Aquatic Event Permit application required for this event has not been approved in time, due to issues in submitting, timelines for MSQ approval, and Xmas shutdowns.

We apologies sincerely for having to cancel this event. 

We have looked at all other options in trying to collaborate with other clubs, but no one has a permit in place to cover this Sunday.

The penalties for running an event without a permit include large fines and criminal charges so the committee has no choice but to cancel the race.

We look forward to seeing you on the water in February for races 2 and 3.
