Notice of Ammendments to Sailing Instructions for Manly Combined Clubs participants - 15/09/2024!

Amendments to sailing instructions to cover races 13, 14 & 15. Dates 21 & 22 September 2024

6.4 Briefing as per sailing instructions for big lap and long passage race at 08:30

7.2 amended to read long passage race 13 and not race 15

9.4 new courses added for race 13, 14 & 15 refer to bottom of page

14.1 The time limit for races will normally be 1700 hours, but the race officer may at their discretion extend this time by making an announcement to the fleet on Ch 72.

New long passage courses race 13

Division 1 - 35NM

S/F Start , NJW starboard , CJP starboard , RBFG port , MIE port , JRB port , MIWG port , RBHB starboard , RBPI port , RBFG port , SHR port , RBGI starboard , LLS starboard , S/F finish.

Division 2 - 27NM

S/F Start , NJW starboard , CJP starboard , RBFG port , MIE port , JRB port , MIWG port , RBHB starboard , SHR port , RBGI starboard , LLS starboard , S/F finish.

Trailer Sailer Division - 20NM S/F Start , NJW starboard , CJP starboard , RBFG port , MIE port , SHR port , RBHB starboard , LLS starboard , S/F finish

Race 14 & 15 will be 2 short courses made up of marks from the Manly course book V4 MCC Coursebook- V4 - A4 (manlycombinedclubs.com) with the intension of running 1 short course and possibly 1 longer course if the time and conditions allow. Race 15 start sequence will be approximately 15 minutes after the last boat finishes race 14.
